"The Old Wall" in created from vintage kimono fabrics, then hand embroidered and finished with a combination of hand and machine quilting. It won first place in fiber arts at the Margaret Harwell Art Museum. The colors are deep and rich, and imply an old surface, covered with vines, flowers and moss. I presented this piece to a special friend as a gift.
