"When the Slave Traders Came" has been included in the "Roots of Racism" exhibit that toured the country for two years.
It was in the Art in Embassy program. It was shown in the American Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan. It is made from cotton and rayon, and is machine stitched.
The red stripe on the right represents the blood that was shed when the white slave traders raided the African villages.
