"Inca Shapes" is abstracted from ancient Inca ruins near Lima, Peru. The brilliant architecture from pre-Columbian times created space between the adobe blocks, for "wiggle room" in this earthquake prone part of the world. Many of these old structures are still standing. This piece is a tribute to their competent work, and the beauty of the design.
