Design #5 is a collage of hand painted silk, silky fabric, and hand made paper. The edges and hole are burnt, giving an organic quality to the silk. The edge on one piece curls and twists, giving a three dimensional effect. The collage is hand stitched with large stitches to enhance the design. It is mounted on an archival mat board.
