"Blue" is created from sheer silk organza, hand painted. It is one layer, and reversible, finished on both sides, inspired by Korean Pojagi. The deepened values of the fabric folded onto itself have a magical quality as they create lines of stronger color. The varying width of the seams is intended to give an organic quality to a geometric design. It allows the artist's hand to be visible, and present in the art.
