"Balance II" is a minimalist abstract composition reflecting a balance in an asymmetrical design. The piece is entirely hand stitched, with hand painted sheer silk and hand made paper. It is mounted on lightly textured silky fabric, and framed, without glass. "Balance II" reflects my efforts to achieve balance in day to day life, with different needs, goals, and incidents making demands on me. It's not easy to accomplish this, whether it's in life, or an abstract composition.
