"Balance I" is a minimalist abstract composition reflecting a balance in asymmetrical design elements. This piece is entirely hand stitched, with hand painted sheer silk, and hand made paper. It is mounted on raw silk, and framed, without glass. "Balance I" reflects my efforts to achieve balance in day to day life, with different needs, goals, and incidents making demands on me. It's not easy to accomplish this, whether it's in life, or an abstract composition.
