"River Oats" is a simplified line drawing of one of my favorite plants, known in the Ozarks as River Oats. It grows in wet areas, near rivers, and has oat like seed pods dangling from the curved leaves of the plant. I find it graceful and charming.

This piece is presented with a simple, elegant metal frame, without glass, to allow the textile to breathe and to be visually available to the viewer. The framing makes this piece very easy to hang. It will take minimal care. Dust lightly occasionally, and keep it out of direct sunlight. It will maintain its elegance for years.
