"Design #4" is a study working with shapes, colors, and minimalist design in fiber. It is needle felted, which means that the fabric is actually blended in the piece. The lower or under-layer threads are brought to the surface, visually blending the fibers, much like the modern art painters did with paint. The simple composition lends a sophisticated drama to this piece. It seems to have an inner light, and glows.

This piece is fabric, stitched to paper, and archivally framed. It will need an occasional gentle dusting, and should not be hung in direct sunlight.
